Hello and welcome to my blog titled “Tales from Avatar”!

While I breathe and live music of most generations, ranging from pop to R&B and rock, I’m also a huge sports fan, specifically AFL, tennis and motorsports, while I also love to trek the globe even if I’ve only been to about ten countries at most.
Internationally, I’ve been to Vietnam a few times, while I have also been to Singapore, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia (twice), South Korea, New Zealand, Vanuatu and New Caledonia. Domestically, I’ve been to Melbourne and Queensland a few times, and also went to Adelaide in 2021 and Cairns last Christmas.
Here you’ll see me writing a lot about the events I attend, ranging from motorsport to AFL, to gigs and the like!
I’ve been very lucky to have seen some of the world’s biggest musical acts, including the Backstreet Boys, Kings of Leon, The Script, U2, Coldplay, Maroon 5, Imagine Dragons (twice), Nickelback, Bring Me the Horizon, Bastille (twice), Benee, Ava Max and Mimi Webb, among many others.
In particular, I was fortunate to witness Max and Webb’s first ever performances in Australia, with the former performing on Channel Seven’s “Sunrise” in April 2019 and the latter performing her very first Sydney gig in September 2022.
I am a member of the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the AFL and have attended a lot of their home games over the past decade, while I have also attended a few rugby league matches, including two State of Origins, as well as many Supercars events.
I was on hand to watch the Giants make their AFL debut against the Sydney Swans in 2012, while just recently I was at North Sydney Oval for the Swans’ AFLW debut against St Kilda in August of this year. My love for motorsport has taken me to Newcastle twice (2018 and 2019) and the Gold Coast (2019).
